Payments and Merchant of Record
Payments are securely processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles checkout, payment methods, currency conversion, sales tax / VAT / GST, invoices, and chargeback processing where applicable. The charge on your statement may appear as Paddle alongside MomentumTrackr.
Subscription renewals
Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) using the payment method on file, until you cancel. You can review your current plan, renewal date, and subscription status from your account.
Upgrades and downgrades
You can change plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and Paddle handles any pro-rated charge. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period — your existing paid features remain available until then.
Cancellation
You may cancel at any time from Account Settings or the Paddle customer portal. Your paid access remains available until the end of the current billing period. Cancelling a subscription does not delete your account.
Updating your payment method
Payment methods are managed through the Paddle customer portal, accessible from your account. We never see or store full card numbers.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Paddle will retry over a short window and notify you. We will show a "payment issue detected" notice in your account and keep paid features available briefly while the issue is resolved. If payment is not recovered, the account will revert to the Free plan.
Taxes
Where required, sales tax, VAT, or GST is calculated and collected by Paddle at checkout based on your billing location, and shown on your invoice.
Free plan
The Free plan does not require payment and does not involve Paddle. You can use MomentumTrackr's core anonymous features without an account or subscription.
