Privacy-first architecture

Portfolio intelligence without connecting your brokerage.

MomentumTrackr is a private, AI-assisted workspace for U.S. equities — built on a simple idea: your analysis layer should stay separate from your assets. No broker login. No bank linking. No Plaid. Just a calm, intelligent workspace for NYSE & NASDAQ.

Six things we deliberately don't do

No broker connection

We never log in to your brokerage. There is nothing to revoke, nothing to leak.

No bank linking

No Plaid, no ACH, no account credentials. Your money stays where you put it.

No trading permissions

MomentumTrackr can't place trades, move funds, or touch your assets — ever.

Anonymous by default

Start tracking without an account. Your portfolio lives in your browser.

Reduced exposure surface

Read-only awareness means fewer credentials, fewer integrations, fewer risks.

You stay in control

Your real accounts remain entirely yours. We're the analysis layer, not custody.

How privacy works

What stays here, what doesn't, and what only you can trigger.

Stored locally

Holdings, watchlist, journal entries, snapshots, philosophy, and workspace preferences live in this browser's local storage.

Processed remotely

Public U.S. equity quotes and market context are fetched from market data services. No portfolio details are sent with these requests.

Requires your action

AI reflection runs only on the specific thesis or asset you explicitly ask about — never your full journal, and never on a schedule.

Never collected

No brokerage credentials, no bank links, no trade execution, no behavioral profiling, no third-party advertising trackers.

Private portfolio awareness, by design. MomentumTrackr is built as an analytical layer that sits beside your assets — never on top of them.

Continuity

Local-first, with portable memory.

MomentumTrackr stores portfolio memory locally by default. Changing browsers or clearing local data may remove locally stored workspace history. You can export your workspace at any time from Settings — a single file you own, archive, and restore on another browser. Optional encrypted continuity is on the roadmap, designed to keep the local-first default and remain opt-in.

AI transparency

Observational, optional, and user-invoked.

AI reflection is designed for contextual portfolio awareness, not predictive trading advice. It runs only when you explicitly ask about a specific asset or thesis — never on a schedule, never on your full journal, and never to place trades or move funds.

Core philosophy

“Your analysis layer stays separate from your assets.”

Modern investors don't need another place that asks for their brokerage password. They need a calm, intelligent workspace to think, watch, and plan. MomentumTrackr is that layer — purpose-built for U.S. markets, designed to give you awareness without exposure.

About AI-generated content

The AI Investor Companion produces neutral, informational observations on U.S. equities — overview, strengths, risks, outlook. It is not investment, legal, or tax advice, does not consider your personal situation, and should not be the sole basis for any financial decision. Always do your own research.

Frequently asked

Why manual tracking?+

Manual entry is intentional. It keeps your brokerage credentials, balances, and transaction history out of our system entirely — and out of any breach we could ever have. You get portfolio awareness without handing over account access.

What does “anonymous” actually mean here?+

You can use MomentumTrackr without creating an account. Holdings, watchlists, and ideas are stored locally in your browser by default. If you upgrade, we only ask for what's strictly required to bill you.

How is the AI Investor Companion different from a robo-advisor?+

It isn't one. The Companion produces neutral, informational observations on U.S. equities — overview, strengths, risks, outlook. It does not place trades, manage money, or issue personalized investment advice.

Will you add optional broker syncing later?+

Possibly, as an opt-in convenience. Privacy-first stays the default. Manual entry will always be a first-class way to use the platform.
